Internazionale are still interested in signing Federico Chiesa while the Nerazzurri have also marked Gaetano Castrovilli as a potential summer transfer target. However, due to the effect of the corona virus pandemic Inter do not have the funds to meet Fiorentina‘s demands for the talented duo and are preparing a player swap.
Fiorentina want at least €60m for Chiesa and could ask for another €40m for Castrovilla, bringing the total to €100m. With their lack of funds Inter are considering to offer a player-swap to lower the costs of the transfer. It is reported that Inter a currently considering to add Belgian midfielder Radja Nainggolan as part of the deal.
But adding Nainggolan would not be enough for Fiorentina to be convinced to lose two of their most talented players in one transfer window. Gazzetta dello Sport report that Inter and Fiorentina will be continuing talking about the possibilities for a deal. Inter would also consider to add several bonuses to the deal, but it is understood that Fiorentina want to receive the fee as a whole.
