Grealish unsure over Aston Villa future: ‘We want to stay in the Premier League’

Jack Grealish says he is unsure about his future at Aston Villa. The talented midfielder admitted to reporters that he does not know if he will be at the club next season amid rumours linking him to a move to Manchester United in the summer.

Villa recorded a surprise win over Arsenal last night (1-0) which has lifted the club out of the relegation zone with just one game remaining in the season. Asked by Sky Sports if Grealish had just played his final home game he said: “I’m not too sure at the moment. I have one aim and that’s to keep this club in the Premier League”

If United want to push through and sign Grealish, the Red Devils won’t be too happy about Villa avoiding the drop. They will be able to demand a much higher fee for their captain if they end up staying in the Premier League. Villa will end the season on Sunday with an away game against West Ham United.
