Real Madrid are back in the race for Bayer Leverkusen starlet Kai Havertz. The German wonderkid looked to be on his way to Chelsea in a possible €80m move, but the Spanish giants have now possibly moved ahead of the Blues, reports from Spain have claimed. Real are offering Reinier as part of the deal and that could be interesting for Leverkusen.
The young Brazilian could replace Havertz on the midfielder at Leverkusen next season, making a deal with Real Madrid more interesting for the Germans. Reinier joined Madrid in January after he turned 18, but he will not be considered as a first team player in the Spanish capital next season.
Madrid are actively looking to send Reinier on loan to aid his development just like they did with Martin Odegaard. Real Sociedad and Real Valladolid have both been put forward as possible destinations in Spain but with Real Madrid chasing Havertz the Brazilian could be sent on a one or even two-year loan spell to Leverkusen as part of the transfer.
