FC Barcelona will listen to offers for a total of twelve players this summer in order to raise funds to sign Internazionale forward Lautaro Martinez. Marca reports that the Catalan giants are ready to put almost half of their squad to generate the fund needed to sign their primary transfer target this summer.
As reported the following twelve players will be allowed to leave if the right offer comes in: Neto, Nelson Semedo, Samuel Umtiti, Junior Firpo, Ivan Rakitic, Arturo Vidal, Ousmane Dembele, Martin Braithwaite, Carles Aleñá, Rafinha Alcantara, Jean-Clair Todibo and Philippe Coutinho are all up for sale.
While the club is aware that it will be impossible to sell the complete list of players, they would be open to send some players out on loan with obligated buy-options. This will help them decrease their wage budget and will grant them extra income they will be able to reinvest in their squad.
For both Dembele and Coutinho Barcelona are fearing that it will be almost impossible to sell them. The club spent over a €100m on transfer fees on them and they both have high salaries which will be difficult to match by other clubs. Coutinho has been linked with Arsenal, but the Gunners lack the funds to sign the Brazilian.
