Manchester United are exploring the possibilities of signing Kingsley Coman, a well respected journalist van England has claimed. The France winger plays for Bayern Munich and could be dropped down the pecking order due to the arrival of Leroy Sane from Manchester City. While United are still pursuing Borussia Dortmund‘s Jadon Sancho, Coman could be a good alternative.
With negotiations between Dortmund and United not being very fruitful, the Red Devils are slowly preparing to sign an alternative ahead of the 2020/2021 season. An option that has been circling around Old Trafford is Ivan Perisic, who is under contract at Inter. United could use the Croatian forward as part of any deal that would keep Alexis Sanchez at the Italian club next season.
However, Coman has now also been added to the wanted list by Manchester United. The 24-year-old joined Bayern from Juventus but he has never been considered as a first team regular. With the arrival of Sane his playing time could be limited even more. Coman’s deal at the Allianz Arena will run out in 2023 and it seems unlikely that Bayern would want to sell the France interational for anything below €50 or even €60m.
