Messi’s father will be in Milan to talk about possible move to Italian giants

Lionel Messi‘s father and agent Jorge Messi will be in Milan this summer to negotiate terms for a potential move to Internazionale, Italian Radio Rai has reported. The Argentinian forward has reportedly stalled contract talks with FC Barcelona and could be open to sign a new contract at the Italian giants.

At Barcelona Messi’s net earning is around €30.5m per season, while his salary in Italy would be significantly higher due to tax advantages. Earlier this month, Internazionale’s main sponsor Pirelli already explained that they would be able to help the Italians sign Messi during the summer should he become available.

While it seems unlikely for Messi to leave Barcelona during the summer, it might be possible that the forward is looking around for a potential exit. It is known that the 33-year-old is not having the best time at the Catalans as he is not happy with president Josep Maria Bartomeu and the way he has been leading the club.
