Zinedine Zidane will be the head coach of Real Madrid for the 2020/2021 season and has clear plans for what he wants ahead of next season. Marca report that there are not any doubts over the coach’s future and that he has committed to the club’s project despite there being tough moments this season.
Zidane won the LaLiga title this season, which meant Real’s 34th league win and Zidane’s second as Madrid manager. The French boss and Madrid will resume their Champions League campaign in August with the second leg in the round of 16 against Manchester City. Zidane is aiming at his fourth Champions League as coach of Real Madrid.
With the challenge of the Champions League still awaiting in August, Zidane has already begun planning next season. The report states that James Rodriguez, Gareth Bale and Alvaro Odriozola will not feature in the plans of Madrid next season, while Brahim Diaz could be loaned to another club to play regularly.
It is believed Zidane also wants Luka Jovic and Mariano Diaz out of Real Madrid with the club looking for possible clubs to buy the attacking duo. Meanwhile, Martin Odegaard will be staying at Real Sociedad and is set for a return in 2021 to become the successor of Luka Modric, who is still expected to leave.
