Brighton Hove & Albion are considered to be the leading candidates to sign Adam Lallana this summer following the midfielder’s Liverpool exit. The 32-year-old will be leaving the Reds after spending six seasons at Anfield and now it appears that he will be continuing his career with Brighton.
The Daily Telegraph reports that Brighton are the first club to have made contact met Lallana’s agent as they are preparing an offer for the midfielder. His former club Southampton has also been put forward as a possible new club, but the Saints have not made any contact with the player’s agent so far.
Lallana joined Liverpool in 2014 following a €30m move from Southampton. He would play 178 games for the club, scoring 22 goals. During the past three seasons Lallana has been suffering from many injuries, limiting his playing time for the club. He has also been capped 32 times by the English national team.
