Manchester United are seriously interested in Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman, reports Sky Sports. On Friday it was first reported that the Red Devils had placed the French winger on their alternatives for Jadon Sancho shortlist, but Sky Sports now confirm that United want to sign Coman on a full-season loan.
A move for Sancho is becoming less likely every day as Borussia Dortmund are holding on to their €120m asking price. Meanwhile, the England winger himself would be happy to stay on at the German club for at least another year. A loan for Coman would an ideal short-term solution for United.
However, the report from Sky Sports claims that Bayern Munich are unwilling to let Coman leave the club despite signing Leroy Sane from Manchester City this summer. The 24-year-old joined Bayern in 2017 from Juventus and he has three years remaining on his contract at the Allianz Arena. Coman scored four goals and made four assists in 24 Bundesliga games during the 2019/20 season.
