Sandro Tonali will be the central point of a bidding war between Internazionale and AC Milan, transfer expert Gianluca di Marzio has revealed. He confirmed on Sky Italia that both clubs are seriously interested in the signing the midfielder from Brescia and that they will be fighting each other to sign the Italian international.
“The player has already said yes to Inter in late April, then Inter never closed with Brescia. They are in talks with Cellino, who is a tough nut. Milan have joined, who both with Maldini-Massara and Rangnick had put Tonali at the top of the list”, Di Marzio said.
“They asked for information from the player’s agent, Beppe Bozzo, as well as Brescia. Now, whoever finds an agreement with Cellino first will close a deal. It’s a nice market duel,” he added. Current Serie A league leaders Juventus also have interest in Tonali, but after signing Arthur Melo from FC Barcelona chances are slim the Bianconeri will intensify their interest.
