German outlet Bild reports that Manchester United have made a €98m bid for Jadon Sancho. The report also states that the massive offer has been rejected by Borussia Dortmund. The Bundesliga club is holding on to their original asking price of €120m and do not want to accept any lower bids.
After United managed to secure a spot in the Champions League it is expected that the club will return for Sancho this week. However, a deal seems unlikely if the Red Devils will not match Dortmund’s asking price after the club made clear they don’t need to sell Sancho and will only accept an offer if it matches their €120m valuation.
Dortmund will resume training on Thursday to prepare for the new Bundesliga season. The club has already announced that Sancho will be staying for another season if he joins Lucien Favre’s side on their training camp in Bad Ragaz on August 10. The 20-year-old winger has two years left on his contract at Dortmund.
