Las Palmas winger Pedri will be joining FC Barcelona next season. The 17-year-old is considered as one of the brightest talents in Spanish football as Barcelona managed to beat arch rivals Real Madrid to sign the youngster. Pedri can’t wait to join his new club but admits he could also be moving to Germany.
“The priority is to play”, he told Sport in an exclusive interview. “There have been some very interesting proposals from Bundesliga sides, who are insisting they want to take me (on loan). Barça know about this. Those clubs believe I could be an important part of their team and gain experience.”
The youngster has been linked with several clubs in recent weeks including Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Borussia Monchengladbach. However, it would very unlikely for Barcelona to send a 17-year-old winger to play for Bayern Munich, who have just signed Leroy Sane for a reported €60m from Manchester City.
