FC Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen remains coy over a possible new contract at the Spanish club. There has been speculation around the German’s future at the Nou Camp after negotiations for a new deal have not yet reached an agreement.
Ter Stegen returned to Barcelona on Monday after a short holiday following the end of the LaLiga season. The German was welcomed by a series of reporters, who asked him about his contract at the club. Ter Stegen wasn’t keen on answering the questions and only replied with ‘We will see’.
Earlier on Barcelona stated that they have made it their utmost priority to offer Ter Stegen a new contract this summer. Several clubs across Europe will be looking at the situation of the goalkeeper at Barcelona. If a deal collapses teams from the Premier League and Serie A could be stepping up to sign the goaltender.
