Bayern Munich are considering an offer for French wonderkid Edoardo Camavinga, reports AS. The 17-year-old midfielder is considered as one of the best young midfielders in Europe and he has already attracted the interest of Real Madrid in recent months. While Real aren’t expected to make big signings this summer, Bayern could outbid the Spanish giants.
The Germans could be facing stiff competition from Paris Saint-Germain, who have reportedly changed their strategy and want to sign young and talented French players instead of completing big name signing. However, Rennes are aware of the potential of Camavinga and are reportedly holding out for at least €80m.
Camavinga can play as a central midfielder and as a defensive midfielder. The France youth international has made 36 appearances for Rennes this season across all competitions as the youngster has been rapidly making his mark on the Ligue 1. Bayern hope that their history of wooing talents will benefit them while they try to outbid Real Madrid and PSG.
