FC Barcelona don’t have regrets to have sold Arthur to Juventus

FC Barcelona‘s board do not have any regrets selling Arthur Melo to Juventus. The Brazilian midfielder has accepted a transfer to the Italian giants for a reported €80m while Miralem Pjanic will be making the move the other way round to Barcelona. Arthur made headlines on Monday after the midfielder is reportedly refusing to finish the season at the Blaugranas.

It is believed that the midfielder is unhappy the club has been pressuring him to join Juventus instead of allowing him to make his own decision. Several reports claim Barcelona feels that this shows that the club has been right into offering the midfielder out to Juventus. Arthur is currently in Brazil after he was allowed to enjoy a short holiday.

Meanwhile, Mundo Deportivo claim that Arthur’s injury problems and lack of progress has made the board unhappy. Also, the midfielders off the pitch behaviour has frustrated the club at times, with an infamous trip to Paris to attend Neymar‘s birthday two days after losing to Real Madrid disappointed. He also went on a snowboarding trip while he was recovering from a groin injury.
