Michy Batshuayi has decided he wants to leave Chelsea this summer. The Belgian forward is considered as the number three player for the position of striker by Frank Lampard and the forward wants to play regular first team football. With the signing of Timo Werner it could even be possible that Batshuayi could even drop further down the pecking order.
The striker and Chelsea have already discussed his future at the club and a report from Foot Mercato claims that the Blues will not stand in the striker’s way of finding a new club. the 26-year-old has a contract until the summer of 2021 and Chelsea could accept bids around the €20m mark.
In recent weeks Batshuayi has been linked with a move to West Ham United, while a return to the Ligue 1 to play for Olympique Marseille could also be a possibility. The Belgian has played for L’OM in the past and with their return to the Champions League next season they could prove to be the ideal club for Batshuayi.
