Manchester United legend Roy Keane is still very critical at Paul Pogba despite the French midfielder having an impressive streak of performances for the Red Devils. Pogba had been out with a foot injury since december but due to the postponement of the season the France international could finish the season in June.
Since the Premier League restarted in June, Pogba has been one of United’s key performers in their unbeaten streak which ultimately delivered them third place on the table. While Keane says Pogba has the qualities to become Manchester United‘s leading midfielder, he remains critical pointing at his inconsistency.
“I think he’s done okay. I wouldn’t get carried away. He’s a talented boy,” he told Sky Sports. “I like watching Pogba when he’s at the top of his game. The penalty incident the other night kind of summed him up. The fact that people were defending him because he came out and apologised. Pogba’s got qualities, but he doesn’t do it enough.”
