FC Barcelona are reportedly taking legal actions against the bahaviour of Arthur Melo. Marca reports that Arthur has left for Brazil and is refusing to play in the Champions League. Meanwhile Barcelona are not willing to end Arthur’s contract a month earlier, allowing him to move to Juventus earlier.
The Barcelona squad were expected to return to the club on Monday for a coronavirus test and Arthur failed to show up. A day later he didn’t return to team training as well and now the club are considering legal actions against the Brazilian midfielder, who signed for the club in the summer of 2018 as the successor of Xavi Hernandez.
Arthur, however, failed to impress the Barcelona staff since he joined them from Gremio. Also, his behaviour off the pitch has been annoying the club and that has lead to Barcelona offering him out to Juventus. Arthur now feels mistreated by the club as he feels has been pressured in accepting an offer from the Italians despite not wanting to leave the club.
