Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho has requested his board to make at least four big signings this summer as the Portuguese manager is aiming a Champions League return next season. The London Evening Standard has released a list with four names Tottenham will be looking to sign during the summer window.
Southampton midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is looking to become the first arrival at Spurs. The Saints are requesting around €30m for the Danish midfielder, who has also been linked with a move to Everton. Hojbjerg, however, has set his sight on a move to Tottenham and a move is looking to be completed within the next couple of weeks.
Tottenham have also reportedly made an offer for Beijing Guoan’s South Korean centre-back Kim-min Jae. The club wants to sign a replacement for Jan Vertonghen, who left the club on a free transfer last week. With Vertonghen also being able to play as a fullback, Tottenham have also added Atalanta’s Timothy Castagne on their shortlist.
And Mourinho is very keen on adding a striker to his squad to offer support for Harry Kane next season. Spurs have been reportedly looking at two options at Bournemouth after the Cherries were relegated from the Premier League. David Brooks is considered to be their number one option, while Callum Wilson is another option.
