West Ham United are considered to be leading the chase of Queens Park Rangers midfielder Eberechi Eze. The 22-year-old has been one of the stand-out performers in the EFL Championship for QPR and the creative midfielder has been shortlisted by several Premier League clubs including Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and Newcastle United.
The Guardian claims that West Ham are currently the club with the biggest interest in the player as David Moyes has urged his club to make a move for Eze. The Hammers are looking to sign young British players to develop through their first team and they believe that Eze will fit their profile perfectly.
But with other clubs interested could force West Ham to pay more than they would like to do. Eze, who is a former Fulham and Arsenal academy player, has a contract until the summer of 2021 and is reportedly looking for a move to the Premier League. QPR are hoping to receive at least €15m for Eze this summer.
