Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reportedly had a huge change of mind regarding Alexis Sanchez. The Chilean forward looked to be destined to leave Old Trafford this summer, but the Daily Star now claims that the Norwegian manager wants to grant Sanchez a chance to prove himself again next season.
The forward is currently on loan at Internazionale and has shown signs of his former self ever since the Serie A returned from its lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic. The 31-year-old’s fine form has helped Inter reclaim second spot in the league as he provided seven assists and scored three goals in eleven games.
His performances have impressed Solskjaer and the boss has now decided he wants to see Alexis return to United next season. The forward still has two-years left on his €550.000-a-week salary contract and looked to be on his way towards the exit. Inter are interested in signing Alexis on a permanent transfer, though the Italians are having troubles to meet his demands.
