Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi has emerged on the radar of Ligue 1 giants AS Monaco. The Belgian forward is set to leave Stamford Bridge this summer after he has fallen down the pecking order following the arrival of Timo Werner from RB Leipzig. Batshuayi has urged his agent to find him a new club and Monaco could prove to be an ideal candidate.
The Belgian striker has a history in the Ligue 1 as he spent several seasons playing for Olympique Marseille before moving to Chelsea. While L’OM are also considering a move to bolster their Champions League chances next season, Monaco could be the club that is able to sign Batshuayi due to his agent.
Batshuayi shares the same agent as Monaco star Wissam Ben Yedder, who is reportedly on his way towards the exit at the Stade Louis II. With Ben Yedder out of the door at Monaco, Batshuayi could be offered to the club as a direct replacement for the French international. Ben Yedder has been linked with several clubs all over Europe, including sides from the Premier League and the Serie A.
