Kepa Arrizabalaga firmly believes he has played his last game for Chelsea, reports The Sun. Sources close to the player have confirmed that the Spanish goalkeeper has accepted that he will not be playing in Chelsea’s FA Cup final against Arsenal on Saturday as 38-year-old Willy Caballero is expected to play.
It is believed that the 25-year-old is convinced he will not be able to win the confidence of manager Frank Lampard back in time for Chelsea’s Champions League clash with Bayern Munich a week later. And with Chelsea 3-0 home defeat it is likely that this will be their final game of the season.
This means that Kepa could have played his final game for Chelsea if the Blues push through their hunt for a new goalkeeper. Ajax‘s Andre Onana and Atletico Madrid‘s Jan Oblak have been heavily linked with the goalkeeper position at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea are looking to offload the €84m club-record signing.
