FC Barcelona striker Luis Suarez will reject any moves to the Major League Soccer if he would receive an offer. Several reports claim that the Uruguayan striker wants to stay on at the Catalan giants as he hopes to extend his stay beyond the current expiration date on his contract in the summer of 2021.
Sources close to the former Liverpool striker have confirmed that several Major League Soccer clubs have shown interest, but that he has not received an offer from any of these clubs. Earlier it was reported that Suarez had received an offer from David Beckham’s Inter Miami.
New reports from Spain claim that the forward would rather stay on at Barcelona and hopes to stay at the club for at least two more seasons. The 33-year-old will receive an automatic one-year extension if he plays more than 60 per cent of the games next season. His next move will depend on his playing time next season.
