Arsenal forward Alexandre Lacazette has insisted that his future does not depend on that of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. It has been widely suggested that the French striker could decide he wants to leave the Emirates if Aubameyang decides to sign a new contract. But the France international, who has been linked with Juventus, insists that is not the case.
“No, because we know that Auba has a lot of discussions with the club and I cannot put my future on anyone else”, he told Sky Sports. “When he came, everyone knows we had a good relationship. We always talk about everything, not just about football but everything in life. He’s a good guy. That’s why it became really easy between us.”
“I am happy with my career because I played for Lyon, my club since I was a child. I have played for Arsenal, my dream club in the UK. I’m still happy with my career but obviously I would like to win more trophies and this (FA Cup) can make me happier in my Arsenal journey.”
