Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has urged his club to up their bid for Borussia Dortmund starlet Jadon Sancho. ESPN claim that the Norwegian has been growing increasingly weary that the Red Devils might not succeed at signing the England international this summer. Solskjaer has reportedly requested a meeting with Ed Woodward.
United have been interested in signing Sancho for months and it is believed the club have made a €55m starting offer for the winger. The offer was quickly rejected by Borussia Dortmund, who have pointed United that they are not prepared to accept anything below their own €120m valuation for Sancho.
Solskjaer has now prompted his club to increase the bid as the manager fears the club could be missing out on Sancho, especially after reports emerged that Sancho would prefer to move to Liverpool instead. Kicker believes that Sancho would rather join the Reds this summer as he feels there will be more chances of winning trophies at Anfield.
