Paris Saint-Germain have entered the race to sign Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara, claims Le10Sport. It is believed that the French giants are the first club that is prepared to match Bayern’s asking price. Liverpool is also reportedly interested but the Reds aren’t planning to make a €30m for the Spaniard.
Thiago has told Bayern Munich he wants to leave this summer after he rejected their latest contract offer. The club has admitted that they are prepared to sell and the Germans put a €30m price tag around his neck. Liverpool are interested but have reportedly made a €20m offer for the former Barcelona man.
The report from Le10Sport claims that while Bayern have rejected Liverpool’s first offer, PSG are ready to meet their asking price and could be signing Thiago this summer. Head coach Thomas Tuchel is a big admirer of Thiago, who could be pairing up with Marco Veratti and Ander Herrera on the Parisians midfield.
