Liverpool are looking to sign a back up for Andy Robertson this summer. The Mirror reports that the Reds are eyeing a move for Norwich City left fullback Jamal Lewis. The 22-year-old Lewis has been relegated with the Canaries from the Premier League this season and would be considered as a bargain buy for the reigning champions.
The young English fullback had an impressive season for Norwich despite not being able to save his club from relegation. He has made 28 appearances in the Premier League, scoring a single goal. The report from Mirror claims that Lewis could be picked up for around €12m and that he would be happy to accept a rotation role behind Robertson.
Jurgen Klopp is keen on signing both a left and a right fullback to play as a backup for both Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold. Both defenders are considered as leading players for the Reds but both played over 50 games last season due to the lack of a backup. James Milner has been playing as a fullback backup for Liverpool over the past two seasons.
