Newly promoted Fulham are already looking ahead to their return season in the Premier League. The Cottagers secured promotion back to the top tier on Tuesday as they managed to beat Brentford 2-1 in the playoff final at Wembley. It is now suggested that Fulham will want to try to re-sign Tottenham Hotspur’s Ryan Sessegnon this summer.
The 20-year-old winger was signed by Tottenham on the final day of the transfer market last summer in a €27.5m deal. He has been struggling to hold down a firm place in the first team squad and managed to make only 6 Premier League appearances and 12 appearances in total for Spurs.
The Telegraph now report that Fulham are ready to make contact with their city rivals as they are looking to bring Sessegnon back to his boyhood club. While it seems unlikely that Tottenham would want to sell the youngster after a single season, it could be possible that he will be allowed to complete a season long loan.
