AC Milan leading the chase for want-away Arsenal midfielder

AC Milan are the frontrunners to land want-away Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira. The Uruguayan has been strongly linked with a return to the Serie A after his playing time at the Emirates has been dropping since Mikel Arteta took over. Milan are considered to the most likely destination for Torreira.

The midfielder was already linked with Milan a season ago when former Sampdoria manager Marco Giampolo took the reigns at the San Siro. The rumours then went cold when the manager was sacked later in the season, but is now seems that Milan are still interested in signing the midfielder.

Torreira made 29 appearances in the Premier League this season for the Gunners, scoring one goal and an assist. He now believes he is not in the plans of the Spaniard for next season and he is looking to move. Torreira was signed by Arsenal in 2018 in a €29m move from Sampdoria.
