Arthur Melo will be returning to FC Barcelona in the next 24 hours, reports Marca. The midfielder will be returning from his homeland Brazil and will meet with the club on Saturday. The report claims that Athur has no intention of playing for the club again and he wants to use the meeting to terminate his contract with Barcelona.
The news of Arthur returning to Barcelona is followed by the club opening legal proceedings against the midfielder after he refused to return to the club after the LaLiga season had ended. The Barcelona squad was given a short holiday to prepare for their Champions League clash with Napoli and Arthur then never returned to the club.
The Brazilian wants Barcelona to terminate his contract for him to join up with Juventus, the club he wil be joining after the current season. Arthur feels he has been mistreated by Barcelona and he firmly believes he was forced to complete a transfer to balance the books at Barcelona rather than being sold on a sporting decision.
