SkySports reports that Southampton midfielder Pierre-Emile Højbjerg will have a medical at Tottenham Hotspur this Monday, ahead of a €17m move from Southampton. The Danish midfielder was also linked with Everton and Ajax in the media earlier, but seems to be nearing a deal to join the north London team.
Kyle Walker-Peters seems te be making the transfer the other way round for a reported fee of €13m. Though, the Premier League side and the English right back have yet to agree on personal terms. The 23-year old appeared in 10 games for Southampton last season, when he was on loan from Spurs.
Pierre-Emile Højbjerg expressed his desire to leave Southampton in June of this year, which made him lose his captaincy to James Ward-Prowse. The 25-year old Danish international said he wanted to play at an even higher level and seems to be getting what he wants with the potential move to Tottenham Hotspur.
