AC Milan have opened talks with Chelsea to sign midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko. The Italians are keen on bringing the France international back to the San Siro after he already spent a season on loan with the club back in the 2018/2019 season. Sky Sports report that Milan want to sign Bakayoko on loan with an obligated option to buy next summer.
The report states that Milan have offered €3m as a loan fee and will then buy him next summer for €35m. Bakayoko is believed to be keen on a return to the Serie A after he managed to play 42 games for the Rossoneri during his first loan spell. He also wants to leave Chelsea after struggling at the club since joining them in 2017.
Bakayoko joined Chelsea on a €45m transfer from AS Monaco and held a first-team place in his first season. He was sent on loan to Milan the following season and last season he returned to AS Monaco on loan. He is now set to leave for a third loan spell but this time with a permanent exit next summer.
