Wolverhampton Wanderers do not intend to accept a player swap deal by Juventus for Raul Jimenez. The Bianconeri are keen signing the 29-year-old Mexican striker as they are looking to bolster their attack to put in a real challenge for the Champions League next season.
Corriere dello Sport report that Juventus have offered Wolves Gonzalo Higuain as part of the deal. The Argentinian would be used as a make weight to lower the overall costs of signing Jimenez this summer. It is believed that the Mexican international would be open to joining Juventus but will not force a move away from Wolves.
The report claims that Juventus also offered Aaron Ramsey in a straight swap. That offer was turned down immediately by Wolves as they rate Jimenez at around €100m. It is possible that Juventus will be coming back to Wolves with a new player swap offer as the club is planning a major squad overhaul this summer.
