Fulham sign in-demand USA international Antonee Robinson from Wigan

Fulham have confirmed that they have completed the transfer of defender Antonee Robinson from Wigan Athletic. The club did not made any comments on the transfer fee but The Athletic reports that the fee is just around €2.5m. The USA international has signed a four-year contract with the newly promoted Premier League club and will earn around €50.000-a-week.

“I am made up to be a Fulham player. I was really excited to get down here and get everything signed. I can’t wait to get going,” he told the official Fulham website in his first interview with the club. “I heard a few days ago that Scott Parker was interested in me and wanted to speak to me personally.”

“We had a Zoom call and he was really keen to get the deal done and for me to be a Fulham player”, Robinson added. “Fulham play a really nice style of football and I can see myself fitting in perfectly. As soon as I heard of the ambitions, it was an easy decision for me.” Robinson enjoyed spells with Bolton Wanderers and Wigan before joining Fulham.
