Alexandre Lacazette has dropped a hint on his future at Arsenal. The French forward has been linked with a move away from the Gunners as he seeks more game time while the club is looking to generate funds to sign new players. Atletico Madrid and Juventus have been linked with a move for Lacazette but an offer has not been made for the striker.
And it now seems that Lacazette is eyeing an extended stay at the Emirates as he posted a comment on Instagram. He posted a picture of himself as an Arsenal player and a fan commented ‘One word. STAY.’ The 29-year-old then responded with a simple winking emoji. The comment has been liked thousands of time and Arsenal fans have been going crazy over the possibly stay of Lacazette.
Despite the comment, Lacazette’s future at Arsenal remains in doubt as long as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has not signed a new deal at the club. If the Gabon striker decides not to sign a new deal, Arsenal would want to hold on to Lacazette. If Aubameyang does sign a new deal, Lacazette could be put out in the window to generate transfer funds.
