Bayer Leverkusen are ready to start spending the money they have received for selling Kai Havertz to Chelsea. The attacking midfielder joined the Blues last week on a deal worth €100m and this has given Leverkusen some money to spend. The club is eagerly looking to replace Havertz and according to Le 10 Sport the Germans want to bring Paris Saint-Germain forward Julian Draxler back to the Bundesliga.
The French outlet claims that sources around Leverkusen have confirmed that Draxler is on their wanted-list for the summer. The German international has already been linked with moves to Hertha BSC and Borussia Dortmund in recent months, but it now seems that Leverkusen could be leading the race for the forward this summer.
Draxler has entered the final year of his contract at PSG and the French club is believed to be open to sell him this summer. The Parisians paid VfL Wolfsburg 36 million for Draxler, who never managed to establish himself as a first-team regular. Nevertheless he has represented PSG 140 times so far, scoring 20 goals and providing 32 assists.
