Zlatan Ibrahimovic has blasted Sweden coach Janna Andersson over his team and tactical choices after the Scandinavians lost 1-0 to France in the Nations League. The AC Milan striker posted a message on social media to hit out at the coach for starting Sebastian Larsson ahead of Juventus winger Dejan Kulusevski. The young winger told after the game he was surprised he did not start against the 2018 World Champions.
Ibrahimovic then blasted Andersson for his decision to leave Kulusevski, who was picked as the Serie A Young Player of the Year, out of the team. “What a f*cking joke. Further proof. Incompetent people in the wrong positions that suffocate Swedish football”, Ibrahimovic posted on Twitter. Kulusevski will be joining Juventus next season in a transfer from Parma.
After the game Andersson told reporters Kulusevski might start on Tuesday against Portugal. “He has done well in training, just like many others. We will see if there will be more playing time on Tuesday. He has great qualities and is a great player and will grow into this eventually. And we’ll see, he might get to play more on Tuesday. This squad we have chosen to evaluate the situation of everyone who is at different levels.”
Vilket jävla skämt.
