Manchester United are showing interest in Internazionale winger Ivan Perisic. The Red Devils are looking to sign a winger this transfer window and after they failed to sign Jadon Sancho the club has been looking at alternatives. Perisic is the latest name that has been added to the list after they have already been linked to Real Madrid‘s Gareth Bale and Juventus‘ Douglas Costa.
The Croatian international spent last season on loan with Bayern Munich and it was expected that the German giants would have signed Perisic on a permanent deal. He managed to make 35 appearances for Bayern last season as he helped the team to complete the famous treble by winning the Bundesliga, DFB Pokal and Champions League.
However, Bayern decided not to sign Perisic on a permanent deal as they confirmed the Croatian had returned to Internazionale. That has now opened doors for Manchester United, who would be interested in signing the 31-year-old on a bargain deal. Perisic is for sale and would cost United less than €15m. It is therefore possible they could consider Perisic as an ideal short-term alternative for Sancho.
