Jorge Antun, the agent of Paulo Dybala has reportedly arrived in Turin to meet with Juventus to talk about a contract renewal for his client. La Gazetta Dello Sport report that Antun has arrived at the club and will be meeting with the Juventus board to discuss the proposed renewal of the Argentinian striker at the club.
Dybala was close to leave Juventus last summer as he was heavily linked with Manchester United. He decided to stay on in Turin and established himself as the club’s first choice striker alongside Cristiano Ronaldo. Despite his performances there have been some rumours Juventus would be prepared to cash-in on Dybala but his agent already squashed these rumours by claiming he was ready to sign a new deal at Juventus.
However, those comments were made in July and two months later Dybala still hasn’t signed a new deal. The forward’s current deal runs out in 2022 and it is now reported that Antun has finally arrived in Turin to talk about the terms of Dybala’s new contract. Earlier reports suggested that the forward wanted a pay rise that would take him to a €15m yearly salary, with Juventus not willing to go past €11m-a-year.
