Dele Alli could be out on his way out at Tottenham Hotspur this summer as transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Spurs have been desperately offering Alli out to other clubs. Ray Parlour suggests that the England international would be a perfect fit for Arsenal and he has suggested that the Gunners should be making an offer for the midfielder.
“£50 million has got to be the marker. One thing about Arsenal is that they lack goals from central midfield areas and [Alli] would tick that box,” the talkSPORT host said. “I think Dele Alli would be more of a fit at Arsenal than Jorginho, I don’t think Spurs would sell him to Arsenal; I think there would be uproar from fans if that happened, but he would certainly be a good fit for Arsenal.”
“Whether he could get more under Arteta? I don’t know. I’m not saying Jose Mourinho can’t get more out of him, he’s still pushing to get more out of him now. But what Arteta has done with the other players and what I’ve seen from the outside, certainly they’re responding to him and I’m sure Dele Alli would be exactly the same.”
