A shock report from Spain as Spanish outlet Marca claims that Ronald Koeman has already begun losing confidence in the board of FC Barcelona. The Dutch coach was appointed by the Spanish side in August, replacing Quique Setien. The report by Marca claims that Koeman is beginning to feel distrust in the Barca board and believes has does not have full control of the situation.
It has been reported that Koeman has been telling people close to him that he is feeling uncomfortable at Barcelona and is beginning to doubt his position at the club. The former Southampton and Everton boss feels that the president and the board members are leaving him defenseless as the club has been selling players since Koeman joined, using the media to claim that these are Koeman’s choices.
In the meantime the Dutch coach had been promised he would be able to rebuild the squad of Barcelona but the club has yet to make a signing under the new boss since he joined. The club did, however, sell several players of the senior squad. Since Koeman is at the club, Barcelona have sold Nelson Semedo (Wolverhampton Wanderers), Arturo Vidal (Internazionale), Ivan Rakitic (Sevilla) and Luis Suarez (Atletico Madrid).
