Internazionale will not be making a move for Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante, says sporting director Piero Ausilio. The Nerazzurri have been long-linked with the French midfielder as Antonio Conte would love to be re-united with Kante at the Serie A giants. Ausilio, however, has ruled out that Inter will be making a move for the midfielder.
Kante is a regular starter under Frank Lampard and a move for the midfielder could cost Inter at least €60m. “Kante is an important part of Chelsea, I don’t think he will be up for sale,” the director explained to DAZN on Saturday prior to Inter’s Serie A clash with Fiorentina. “We have eight important central midfielders, we will begin and move forward with them.”
The director also revealed that Tottenham Hotspur have made a move for defender Milan Skriniar. “There were talks with the Tottenham management, but we will reiterate that Skriniar is a confirmed player for us. We are not planning to lose him after Godin”, he said. Godin signed a two-year contract at Cagliari last week ending a two-year spell at Inter.
