Bayern Munich have completed the signing of Bouna Sarr from Olympique Marseille. The right full-back has signed a multi-year contract with the German giants until the summer of 2024. Sarr traveled to Germany on Monday to complete a medical with Bayern. The medical tests were completed and Sarr signed a multi-year deal with the club.
“I’m very happy to be able to join a big club like FC Bayern. For me, a dream comes true and I will give everything to help write the successful history of this club”, Sarr was quoted on the official website of Bayern. The German club has not communicated any information about a transfer fee but it is believed that the 28-year-old was signed on €10m fee.
The French defender started his career at FC Gerland near his hometown Lyon and he joined Olympique Marseille in 2015 after spells at Olympique Lyon and FC Metz. For Marseille he played 181 games and scored 8 goals. In 2017-18 he reached the final of the Europa League with Olympique Marseille.
