Zlatan Ibrahimovic has recovered from COVID-19, two weeks after he was tested positive for the virus. The Swedish forward has been given the green light to resume training at AC Milan and he will be available for selection in Milan’s derby against arch rivals Internazionale. Zlatan confirmed he has recovered from corona on social media.
On his Twitter page, Ibrahimovic published a message – presumably from Milan – confirming that he has recovered from the virus. “You recovered. Health authorities have been informed, the quarantine is over. You can go out!” he wrote, adding “fuck covid-19” and “god is coming for you” as hashtags.
The news of Ibrahimovic recovery is good news for Milan coach Stefano Pioli, who has missed the Swede during his two-week quarantine. The Rossoneri confirmed that Matteo Gabbia has now been tested positive while on international duty with Italy U21 and it is feared that summer signing Sandro Tonali will also test positive upon his return from the national team.
