Dejan Kulusevski says he is worried to face his Juventus teammate Cristiano Ronaldo when Sweden meets Portugal in the Nations League. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner scored both goals when the two nations met in September, a match which was won by Portugal 2-0. Kulusevski says the match in Lisbon will be a very tough match for Sweden and that it will be next to impossible to stop Ronaldo.
“There is no one who can stop him. If he has a good day, he decides everything on his own,” Kulusevski said via Aftonbladet. “We did not manage to stop him last match, but we get another chance on Wednesday. I do not know how to stop him, you have to be aggressive get him frustrated. I know what it’s like to play against aggressive backs and in the end you get frustrated.”
Portugal are the current leaders in Group A of League A in the Nations League. They have the same amount of points of France but are ahead on goal difference. Both teams have seven point from their first three matches. Portugal are currently on a six-match unbeaten streak, while Sweden are currently on the bottom of the group after they lost 2-1 to Croatia during the weekend.
