Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly broken the corona quarantine rules. The Portuguese forward has been tested positive on the virus while on international duty and was forced to go into self-isolation. Reports have now claimed that Ronaldo has breached the quarantine rules as he is expected to fly back to Turin to be with his family.
Ronaldo has to self-isolate for ten days and that means he will miss the Serie A match with Juventus against Crotone. In two weeks the Bianconeri will face FC Barcelona in the Champions League and Ronaldo is adamant of featuring in the game against his rival Lionel Messi. For that reason he has decided to fly back to Turin on Wednesday.
That will make it possible for Ronaldo to undergo a corona test at Juventus on Thursday and that should be in time to clear him for the match against Barcelona in two weeks time. The Portuguese forward will have to pass a corona test before October 21 to be cleared to play against the Blaugranas in the Champions League. At this point it is unclear how the Italian authorities will react to Ronaldo breaking the quarantine rules.
