Antoine Griezmann - France

Italian giants on the alert as Koeman wants to offload Antoine Griezmann

Italian giants Juventus and Internazionale have been alerted as it has been suggested that Ronald Koeman wants to offload Antoine Griezmann. Calcio Mercato reports that the Dutch coach has not been impressed by the France international and feels he does not fit his style of play. Griezmann could be up for sale during the January window as Barcelona look to generate funds.

During the international break Griezmann showed a good piece of form for France in the Nations League. After he scored against Croatia he gave a sneer to Koeman: “Deschamps knows where to let me play.” The comments from Griezmann were instantly replied to by the Dutch Barcelona boss, who said: “I am the coach and I decide where he plays.”

These comments have intensified the rumours that Koeman is not a big fan of Griezmann and that the coach would be open to sell him in January. The French forward has been involved in three LaLiga games this season and he has failed to score a goal or provide an assist. He has been playing as a right winger while Lionel Messi is playing as a false striker in Koeman’s 4-2-3-1 formation.
