Real Madrid and FC Barcelona could be interested in signing Bruno Fernandes from Manchester United if the Portuguese grows unhappy at Old Trafford, reports the Sun. The attacking midfielder joined United in January from Sporting Portugal and he enjoyed a good first half season in the Premier League, helping the Red Devils securing third position on the table.
However, this season Fernandes has not been able to continue his form and he was even subbed off the pitch at half-time during United’s horrendous 6-1 home loss to Tottenham Hotspur. It has been suggested that Fernandes has been growing unhappy with his role at United and the way the team is led by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
During the international break Fernandes and the club have tried to play down the suggestions of him being unhappy but also denials of a half-time row between the midfielder and Harry Maguire as they trailed Spurs 4-1. While on international duty Fernandes also had to dismiss the rumours that he lacked faith in Solskjaer and his tactics.
