Kylian Mbappe is targeting a win for Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League against Manchester United on Tuesday. The clash between the two European giants will also be known for the match where Edinson Cavani could make his debut for United after leaving PSG on a free transfer last season. Cavani signed a one-year deal at United on the final day of the transfer window.
And now he will be able to make his United debut against his former club. Asked if it would be weird to face Cavani, Mbappe said: “Not at all. Now he’s on another team. I wish him the best, but he’s not one of us anymore. We’ll play against him and try to beat them.”
Cavani is PSG’s record goal scorer as the veteran striker netted 200 goals in the seven seasons he spent with the club. On Sunday the Uruguayan completed his first training as a United player after he was forced to go into self-isolation after he traveled to England from France due to the coronavirus regulations.
